Current Disney Store ticket pricing?

if I go get 4 adult 7 day park hoppers with water at the DS at square one.. how much more would it be to upgrade when I get there ( to Disney) for 4 dvc anuall passes ???

k I dont know if I am messing up here or what... to buy 4 adult passes at the store in Ontario ( square One) it is 349.00 a person for hopper with water parks 7 days that comes to 1396. to buy them from Disney it comes to 1112.00 that a 284 dollar difference .. with the exchange rate does that make it at par or no? Or is it cheaper to just get them there ? *confused!! LOL *

You might have forgot the water park options when you check the price from Disney. 7 days adult hopper with water parks for 4 from Disney should come to $1312 US.

roughly $72 US plus tax per pass for the upgrade.

The Disney Store sells MYW tickets at par exchange (or at least, they do currently). Since the Canadian dollar dropped so much over the past year, Canadian Disney stores are probably the best place on the continent to buy Disney tickets. They're 20% less than buying at WDW in Florida !

Wow, that's really good to know! The nearest DS to me is two hours away in Ottawa but it might be worth it to go there.

Don't forget that if you're upgrading, make sure you use each ticket for at least one day before you upgrade to lock in the value of each ticket.

We never did for our DD' s annual pass upgrade and we only paid for the differences. I believe the tickets from DS in Canada has the same face value as the tickets down in WDW.

I realize that, but I learned on the DIS that if you don't use it at least once, you may lose money when you upgrade - by using it, you lock in the value that Disney gives the ticket - if you don't use it, you're only getting back whatever value the store paid the broker they got the passes from. Just letting OP know you will get more value towards your upgrade by using it once than if you didn't - it works, because I did it - you don't get the one day you use it deducted off the pass value.

Don't forget that the Disney price does not add the tax until you are checking out. This confused me too, but if you log in to the disney website and go to pay for the tickets the tax is added and they are the exact same price.

I work just down the street from Fairview mall, so I'm going to go there on Monday or Tuesday and get some pricing... and see if they have any tickets. I'll let everyone know what I find out.

I picked up a 7 day hopper at the Scarborough Town Centre store and they had dozens of each type of ticket, still at Par with USD, the CM said that could change at anytime, not just when they need to re-order. When I asked for the ticket the CM could not find the adult tickets they had been sorted by another CM. If you head there and they can't find the tickets, let them know they are sorted into three different folders, freaked me out a little.

If I buy the 5 day passes can I upgrade to "non expiry" and "hopper" when we get down there, if need be?:confused3

I think I may drive over to the Disney store in Dartmouth today, just to see what is available.:goodvibes

I just drove the 2 hrs to the Disney Store at the Mic Mac mall in Dartmouth and they still have good availability on their tickets (although they are going fast!!). The 5 Day base passes are $236.43 (Adult) & $199.16 (Ages 3-9) to add the hopper it is $289.68 & 252.41...the 7 Day Base is $242.82 & $205.55 and adding the hopper makes it $296.07 & $258.80.
We just bought 11- 7 Day base tickets because we bought hoppers last year and only used that feature once in 10 days.
Above prices all include the sales tax...can't beat those prices - especially with the exchange rate right now.

hmmmm I called Disney in MicMac this morning and I had them hold 1 adult 7 day base, and 2 child - 7 day base. They didn't have a second adult base ticket. Maybe someone who held them today won't pick them up and there will be a second adult one. I figure worst case scenario is that I have to buy 1 adult hopper ticket and just not hop!!

The lady I spoke to told me there were a lot of people coming down from NB today to pick up tickets!! LOL

I was there (MicMac) yesterday (Sunday) and bought the last 5 day hopper (and options) passes. She said they are the #1 Disney store for sales in Disney passes in Canada (Maritimers love their Disney!!). :goodvibes

She said they get their passes in once a month and the next shipment will be April :wizard:

If the tickets are from airmiles or any other place other than Disney store and you are correct, use the ticket once first before the upgrade. But OP got the tickets from DS and there is no need to use the tickets once before the upgrade.

We had our daughter's ticket (bought at DS) scan at the guest relations first and we want to make sure it has the same value as their tickets. And the cast member told me our DS bought tickets has the same face value as the tickets they sell at WDW.

My mom just called when she got home from Halifax, to let me know they picked up 3-3day passes at the Disney Store @ Mic Mac Mall this morning for $225

I got a call from the Disney Store and someone had reserved an adult 7 day base ticket and didn't pick it up today so its mine...all mine!!! :cool1: I picked up 3 earlier today but they didn't have a fourth but the Manager was nice enough to take my name down (the woman yesterday wouldn't!!!)

I'm not leaving until May 2nd but at least now I can scratch one more thing off my list - and I'm saving 90 US PLUS the exchange rate on 985 dollars although I'm not really saving it - we decided to take advantage of the room rates that are on sale and upgraded to AKL!!

just spoke to the Disney Store @ Limeridge Mall in Hamilton, Ontario.....I am in London and it is the closest Disney Store to me (90 min drive). Currently out of ADULT base 3 and 5 day passes - but have 7 day. Have all passes for children. They order monthly and expect a new shipment of passes within the next 7 - 10 business days. Did confirm that tickets are still 'at par' ...though she said she is prohibited from using that term. She said that "all I can do is confirm that pricing has not changed since last August". Will not set aside tics and inidcated it is first come - first serve. Will be calling back in a week as we leave Apr 13. Drive is well worth an estimated $300 savings for us on 2 adult base 3 day and 2 child base 3 day passes.
