I got all excited then I reread and...noticed it says for the "Value" resorts.

We are going to POR mid June. Any one think it might extend to moderates too based on previous experiences?

In Disney's promotions they always say Value resorts but in actuality it's for all available resorts including mods & deluxes

I have the check back for summer offer too under my vacation. I'm booked for December 18th - Jan 4th with the 40% room email I received. Does everyone have this under "my vacation" ? There is also a section about Carribean Resort...gosh wouldn't it be nice to be upgraded from value to CBR???

They wouldn't give me anymore info. just that it was going to be a package deal for values, and to keep checking daily. Sorry guys, that's I could get out of him!

When I click on this link (My Vacation, Backstage Pass, Magical Offers) it gives a discounted Value resort rate of $82/night. Is this what you guys are talking about? They've offered that for mid April-May as well. It works out to be about a 15% discount on room rates. Not fantastic, but better than nothing.

Oh, the dates listed are 8/5 through 8/26. And I've read elsewhere that free dining is supposed to start 8/26 - looks like that would make sense

OH MY GOD!!!!! I had an email from Disney Destinations the other day and I trashed it - didn't think it was important. What if it had a pin in it. Is there any way to find out if there is a pin attached to my name? I am kicking myself as I type. I can not believe I may have deleted a discount. What should I do?

Wasn't the value rate was moved up this year to earlier in August? So the rates would be lower then last year.

This actually isn't a "discount" per se....all Disney's doing is promoting that value season starts earlier this year. Which is no surprise since the value season dates have been released for a long time. Very tricky wording on Disney's part .

Yep.....that's all it is folks! No discounts!
Funny they don't "advertise" that they have INCREASED some of the times of year by adding in the newly named "SUMMER" rates!!!!
