The current offer of free dining, combined with resort discount and a $200 gift card, has to be booked by 1st July.

Does that mean it ends tonight or tomorrow night?

I would say tomorrow night.
It's a great offer. We got the same offer but with $100. For me the free dining is worth it! Plus if you want to upgrade to a higher dining plan it isn't as much.
However, I would also say take a look at Walt Disney World online and try and get a quote through them, they can be cheaper and still give you all the bonus' of Virgin such as the free dining etc.

Thanks, had a wee panic there.

Yep going to book accommodation through Disney.

Yes, the way it's been worded can be confusing.

It's still being offered this morning on Disney's web site with the $200, so happy booking and don't forget to go via the Quidco link for an extra 3% cash-back saving.

Or try complete orlando alot cheaper than disney but no gift card

It seems that the offer has been extended to the beginning of November, only difference being you get a $100 gift card not a $200 one.

As far as I knew the offer was always on until November. As always it was the way Disney worded the offer to get people to book early. My understanding was it was only the gift card that would change, the main offer would continue thru til Nov.

Has anybody seen anything suggesting there'll be 10% off like a couple of years ago? That code was great. (JUL1 for those that didn't use it and I've already tried every variant I can think of in the promo box)

There was one around a few weeks ago for 10% off this year but don't see it now, must have expired.

The offer clearly stated "book by july 1st and enjoy free dining ... and so on ...". And the new offer clearly states "bookings between july 2nd and nov 5th".
As far as I'm concerned, it took my by surprise. I did expect the offer to return with a smaller gift card, but I didn't expect it to return so soon. I had expected the offer to return at the end of summer, early fall.

Do you mean for 2013 or for 2014 bookings ?
there is already a discount offered for 2014 bookings on top of the free dining (8% at some moderates, 10% at values and up to 35% at OKW and SSR, no code required.

for 2013 it's anybody's guess. It might probably come cheaper waiting for a free dining on the US website for the end of the year than expecting a discount code from the UK site though

It was discussed on other forums, it was only the gift card was changing. It was worded as all 3 offers as a package ended on July 1st but free dining was continuing until Nov.

The discounts are already worked into the prices given on sites like http://wdtc.disneyinternational.com/ or http://www.completeorlando.co.uk/

Old Key West and Saratoga Springs Resort. Most are listed on this thread http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1660743

Is it better to book now for 2014 through wdw.uk or are there likely to be even better discounts/extras if I leave booking closer to departure date? Looking at SSR for family of 4ad2ch beginning of july 2014.

If you're going with SSR I'd want to book before the end of this current offer. There is never any guarantee that it will come back. The discounts offered closer to the time/last minute type discounts don't usually include free dining. Now if it's cheaper for you to take a discount and add the dining plan or pay for food OOP this may well be a great deal. It depends on how many adults and children are in your room as to how the costs compare.

I would rather book a discount that I know is available where possible, than hold out for one that may or may not be there later on. I don't think Disney is having a problem filling rooms at the moment and rumour has it that they are reducing the huge discounts they have been offering over the last few years.

No way of telling so I'd rather be safe than sorry if I were in a position to book.

Thanks so much for the speedy reply. Definitely thinking of Saratoga as we love dtd and there are more of us next year. Loved free dining this year and definitely want it again. Do you think there will still be availability at ssr close to the end date for offer? Would hate to miss out but need to sort out finances a wee bit before booking what with school uniforms etc to buy first!

If you know you are definitely going, are you in a position to just book it with deposit only to secure the reservation? If you had to change dates or amend the booking later, it is a nominal amendment fee, but at least that way you have locked yourself into the current deal.

I can't help with availability because I've never booked either of those resorts so haven't really followed information on here in that regard

This was going to be my suggestion pay the deposit and then that way you have it at the deal price. We missed out one year and the offer that replaced it was not nearly as good.
