current crowds, can this be correct?

What are the crowds like currently at the parks??? From what i've seen on the App the Potter rides have both been around 30 mins most of the day, and Despicable Me has had the longest line each time i've checked... Is this correct? First off is that really the longest ride in both parks?? Second is it accurate that the potter rides in both parks have been around 30 minutes 45 max in the middle of the day??? Thanks!

It is possible that is accurate and Despicable me ALWAYS Has huge lines. It is a popular, family friendly attraction RIGHT SMACK at the front of the park as you come in..

I've been watching the app and have been very pleased with the wait times posted, except DM, as noted and I agree with RMulieri's assessment). It think it's probably pretty accurate. We used it while on our trip in March before we left our room in the afternoon and found it to be pretty accurate times once we were in the park.

I can only hope we see similar crowds to those when we are there the first week of May!!

If that's the case, I'm going to book a late April/early May trip EVERY year!

Yes it's accurate! The waits for Despicable Me are frequently longer than the others. I think for the reasons that were mentioned ... lower height requirement and right at entrance. Plus the Harry Potter rides load continuously whereas DM loads the theaters then the line stops for a while.

We were there Monday and the lines weren't bad. Didn't check closely as we stay onsite so didn't really wait for anything. We did both Harry Potter rides in the morning with basically no wait.

We just returned...were at both parks on Wed & Thurs. Yes, DM consistently had the longest waits. We lucked out bc we stayed offsite but they offered EE at IOA so we were able to take advantage of that. We were there early and 5 minutes before the park officially opened the wait time was 10 minutes. The line built rapidly after that. Loved DM though!! For the two days we were there both of the HP areas had lower lines at closing but DM wait was still very long! The waits for everything else varied throughout the day but overall were very manageable.
