I'm not Mags2002, but we were just on the Wonder and my 17 yo daughter was super excited that one day they had entertainers from the theater productions in Vibe. They talked about their experiences and answered questions. It was probably her favorite thing that she did on the ship. I don't know if they always do it (we were on a longer cruise: 9 days).

We just came off the Wonder and also had a session with one of the performers who had also been involved in Broadway/West End theater productions (open to all ages). He commented that there's a program to bring a performer with that experience onto each ship. He shared his story and took questions from the group. It was really interesting.

My family and I will be sailing on the Dream to Nassau and Lookout Cay. Will we be able to get a picture with sorcerer Mickey on the stern at either of those ports?

Possibly. It depends on how the Dream pulls into Nassau. If she pulls in front first, you'll be able to take a picture of the bow as you're walking down the pier.

I haven't been on the Alaska cruise yet (we're in the planning stages of our 1st Disney cruise!) but in summer it'd be very hard to see the Northern lights in Alaska. By late June the sun won't set until late and rise very early. You need a couple hours after sunset for it to be dark enough to see the Northern lights and that just doesn't happen up north in the summer. Even where I live late June is horrible to try and view them. You need to wait until 1am for a chance. This is why winter is the best for viewing the lights as it gets dark so early!

If you are a US citizen, then you should not need a passport. However, best to check the requirements directly at the link posted by @ShaneDJ.

A question that came up this week in another thread here, do Castmembers in tipped positions have a preference whether additional tips, on top of the automatic tips, are done electronically like the automatic tips, or cash? @Mags2002
