We usually go to the first dining / second show. I’ve noticed that when they replay the shows on the stateroom television, the leads are different. Are different leads used for the first and second shows? Or maybe the shows being replayed on the TV are from another sailing?

Great thread, thanks for the insight :).
As Bad Pink Tink said, the shows on the tv have been pre-recorded years ago.
Otherwise, the leads and all of the Cast are the exact same for the two shows. Unless of course someone gets hurt or sick and then they have understudies that can step in

no question just a wish for a new Tinkerbell Meet and greet. We love the Frozen meet on the Wish and Mirabel has been a blast at the parks.

Q - Is there any way to find out when and where the character experiences like "games with Rapunzel", "reading with Belle", etc will be?

So we are going on first DCL cruise in two weeks since 2017. Back then we heard the CM's in the kids club's appreciated receiving current magazines and hard candy. Does this still hold tru? We always like to bring something for our kids to give to the club YC's to start off the week.

I asked some friends in youth activities and they said “yes please”!!! And hopefully they might share with their fave character friends 😉

I missed the “where” part!
Most character programs are held in the youth activities spaces. Some are random and will be initiated by the character themselves, usually during a stroll

For Mags2002: Not sure if it’s OK to inquire here, but here goes. We will be on the Magic in 13 days. Our 17 yo grandson will be with us. He is a senior Musical theatre major in the city’s Creative and Performing Arts High School. Is there any way he would be able to talk with any of the entertainers? Who would we contact once onboard? Thanks for any help 😁

Thank you. I must be misinterpreting some reviews I've read which referred to finding Rapunzel playing "duck, duck goose" with children and finding Belle reading a book aloud to children in either the atrium or the area / space before the entry doors to the live theatre.

From the reviews, those events are not listed in the app, but still occur. I was just trying to figure out if there's any way of knowing about them, other than visiting the atrium multiple times a day and hoping for a chance encounter.

I'm not Mags2002, but we were just on the Wonder and my 17 yo daughter was super excited that one day they had entertainers from the theater productions in Vibe. They talked about their experiences and answered questions. It was probably her favorite thing that she did on the ship. I don't know if they always do it (we were on a longer cruise: 9 days).

Sometimes things like this are scheduled and in the app, but the majority of the time, the performer has chosen to spend their time doing this, so if you come across it you got lucky. It doesn’t happen often, at least not on my ship

Ah sorry for not replying sooner! I would recommend he chat to some of the CMs who are greeting characters, they are from the Cast

What's the current character lineup on the Magic? Trying to make sure my 5-year-old has seen as many Disney movies as possible before our trip in 2 weeks so he'll know who all the characters are!
