current bounceback offer?

I've never done BB, but I would love to add it to the 2011 trip I just booked when we arrive this year. I didn't even know about it when we went the last time. How do you get a code if there is no flyer in your room?

I knew about the offer for sure from reading about it here on the disboards. I also, from past experience, knew the phone number ext. to dial from the room.

Before we left for WDW, we received an email from them asking if we wanted to continue to receive 'special offers' while we were visiting WDW I just let the emails continue, as did my daughter. She had a blackberry and we actually received the offer in the email on a Thurs. (the day before we were leaving) I, too, had the email but didn't see it until I was home. Anyway watch the boards before going to at least get the code and make sure it's still 8844 from the room. The bounce back we had was for various times throughout the rest of 2010. We actually had a PIN res. for 30% off for our nov. stay, but the bounceback was 35% so we really were just adjusting a current res. We ended up changing it again with the AP rates came out since the bounceback didn't include Nov 27 and the AP and actually GP offer does. We booked new res. online and then called to cancel. I wanted to make sure both of us had the new res. before cancelling either! Keep looking here for that type of code. I would call the number from the room just to double check, you may get a CM that will help you out if there is an offer.

Thanks for the info. Do you know... is it like a PIN code offer... everybody's code is different, or would a free dining BB code be the same for everyone? The flyer on the previous page says code is KIL.

The flyer I posted is from last year. The code was used when you call the number listed while you were still at WDW. I would think it would be the same. Won't know until a new flyer is posted. You could also watch the boards here for any info that would be useful for when you are there.

Oh yes, thank you, I missed that. I wasn't paying attention to the year. The little voice in the back of my head did say "how did they get that already", but I just wasn't listening lol.

I have done the BB three years running, and there is always a code tied to the BB offer. I know if you call x8844, you don't need, because you are calling from your hotel room. They provide another number for you to call, as well as code.

I was just trying to see if anyone had seen the flyer yet?

Thanks for clarifying!

No, not a PIN. It was a 3 letter code. On the example, it shows it near the bottom for last year. Also, it's usually a room discount when it's not FD time. Well regular FD time-now it appears to be for a much longer time so who knows! The main benefit for a bounceback might be to do what was offered last year for this year-reg. dining at the Values and only a 1 day ticket.

When we inquired about the BB last week (while staying at pop) they only had dates until Feb 2/2011.

And the promos that were advertised are the same as for general pop on the website.

Yes this is what I was told. While there 9/27/2010 they could adjust my rate back down to save me the upgrade (2011) to regular dining. I called the # on this flyer and asked to be connected to the BB department. They were very nice !

Same flyer and code KIL from last year (also states 0809-POP on the bottom). Kind of surprised they didn't even change the design.

Do we have any word on the dates?

Also, how does BB work? We go in 5 weeks. Is there a chance they will run out of rooms before we get there?

From the 19th post:

I just got off a 35 minute call with Bounce Back people. I asked specific questions. Explained I arrive on 9/27.
1. Will regular dining be free at POP for 2011 bounce Back ?
Ans. Yes
2. Will I be able to modify my existing 2011 that I already added regular dining to.
Ans. Yes. Good thing you did as the offer will be limited.
3. Is there a flyer to read from.
Ans. Not yet , should be in the next few weeks for free dining. There is another flyer currently out now.
4. Is it available to book today if I were there at POP ?
Ans. Not yet as a BB. Some that call are being given the current offer thats available to all.
5. So I understand regular free dining as of today is still not available for POP as a Bounce Back.
Ans. That is correct . You would be given free dining and charged to upgrade to regular which would reflect in your final price. This should change in the next few weeks once the system is set up to do this.

Thus it appears that it will be regular free dining at the POP very soon.
It seems POP is only affected by this as a Mod or Deluxe already receives free regular dining with current offer to public :rolleyes1

So what about the other 3 value resorts?

When I said POP I meant the value resorts. I said POP as that is the one I asked about. The new flyer only effects the values, so I am told, and will be limited. Guess the later your arrival date the more chances of the free dining to be gone as its already out there to the general public with quick service.

Lol I go with my mother too.:upsidedow

She also doesnt want to upgrade, she loves All stars She is really upset that we are staying in port orleans next week. Thats all she talks about :scared1:
She says we're going from a really nice resort to a swamp :scared1: and my 3 year old is going to fall into a lake and the bugs are gonna get us :lmao: I bet with all this complaing she going to love it:wizard:

:rotfl:, your DM sounds hilarious and very entertaining!

Thank you for going the extra mile with your answer. I had read that post before, but my questions must be "foggy" enough to sound like I had not. All I am wondering is: 1) are the dates for the BB offer the same as the current offer for the general public, and 2) can they run out of rooms available for the BB offer?

I think I know the answer to #2- yes, they can, just like the can run out of rooms for Visa FD or any other offer. Now if only someone can give the definitive answer for the dates for the BB offer.

I called for the bounce back offer yest while in all star sport for aug 26 of next yr. I was told that only quick service is offered at the value resort, not regular ddp. I argued then there is no difference in free dining for the value resorts between the general public fd offer vs the bounce back offer. Per the cm, the benefit for either offer is to hold the room before fd rooms are gone. I went ahead and book the fd package with only qs; I hope I WILL GET a code to upgrade to free ddp. Should I upgrade the dinning by paying for the difference then hope for an free upgrade later? Also, a 2-day ticket is required

offering reg diningplan to POP as a bounceback? That is so not fair. We were there last week, and were planning on booking the bounce back, the in room paper was the stopwatch. I called this past Sunday, our checkout day to book the BB. The offer was not in the room, I called front desk and they transfered me to housekeeping, who told me the offer was removed, that a new offer was coming soon, wouldnt tell me what it was, but sent someone up with the old offer. I called before I realized it was only for dates through dec 2010. Should I call the 407 bounce back number and ask about free dining after the fact? Will they give it to me? WHat is the 407 bounceback number?

Mike

I just called the bounceback phone number. The CM told me there are currently no bounceback offers for 2011 yet. The only offers for 2011 are the public discounts.
