We are set for the Doubletree Castle August 1-6, and I wonder if anyone knows whether recent hotel updates mean that certain room amenities are no longer there. Specifically, a few reviewers have claimed that the fridge and Playstation are no longer offered because of the extra space required by the new LCD televisions. Have any recent guests noticed that? I'm a little put off by the absence of a fridge, if true, because it was listed in the 2010 UG and I was looking forward to bottled water that didn't cost $2.75 each.
On the flip side, did anyone make a note of the connectivity options (if there are any) on the LCD TV? It might be nice to hook up a portable DVD player while there. I have noticed that sometimes these TVs offer only the fancy "HDMI" input, which I cannot use.
