Curly hair people?

If you had short (boy short) hair or when you were a baby, did your curly hair show up when it was short?

My hair is growing back really curly, nothing helps to slick it down. Just wanted to know if it might stay curly or if it grows out.

Well... my hair was extremely curly when it grew in. And was until I cut my hair boy short when I was 7. Then it was straight until I let it grow out.
When I let it grow out it got wavy, and now it's back to curly, but not intense curly.

I had very curly hair when I was little. When I look at pictures from when I was really young, my hair grew in curly.

When I was a baby, no. I was born with straight hair(I guess that's how it strarts for culry hair people)
Then like around 2 years of age it went really curly.

My mom and Dad have curly hair.

When I was a baby I had no hair what so ever.
I little blonde peach fuzz for the first 2 years of my life. lol
Then by time I was 3 my mom could finally put my hair in tiny little pig tails.
When I was 4 my hair grew REALLY fast, so it was thick, and wavy.
So I have to straighten my hair now.

Well from the time I was 0-12 my hair was dead straight, now its kinda wavy and with mouse I can get the amount of curls I want, or get it back to being dead straight with a flat iron. But my hair is only wavy after about 4 inches of hair. I have no clue how curly hair works whatsoever.

When i was about 4 my hair was super short, super tight like pin curls and now, obviously 11 years later, it's a lot longer and it will get a little straighter. But in my experience not too much. Right after I take a shower it is super curly and big again, and if I play with it it gets frizzy. I get really big pretty curls if I just let it be. I have to really go at it with a straightener if I want it to be straight.

I love it curly and wavy though!!!

I've always had extremely curly hair and hated it, but once I got into high school I discovered this magical thing called a straightener and have been straightening it ever since.

The longer it gets though, it should get better. The weight should help pull the curls out some. I got this really bad haircut once (before I started to straightening it) and the lady cut it too short. It curled up so bad that I seriously looked like Shirley Temple had attacked my head, but once it finally grew out it got better.
