Curious...what's your favorite loop???

I have done the online check in - how do I go about faxing the site/room request? What number do I fax to and is there a special form? I wanted to put the confirmation number of the other party we are traveling with but there was no where to do that on the online check in.

From Another Website.

Description
Guests can go back to nature at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. The 700-acre resort features campsites and Wilderness Cabins in a relaxed, rustic atmosphere. Guests can explore a quieter side of Walt Disney World Resort with activities such as horseback riding, canoeing, carriage rides, boating or hiking on nature trails. There’s even an old-fashioned marshmallow roast and campfire sing-along, followed by a classic Disney movie under the stars every night.

We've been twice - once in the 500 loop and once in the 1700 loop. As with all, both have pros and cons.
The 500 loop was great in terms of getting to the Settlement - just a short walk. The downside was that we were in an outside site and we got a lot of noise from the main road - buses, golf carts, etc. We did get used to it, but it was there. We were in site 555 and it seemed smaller than a lot of the other sites in the loop. Wasn't an issue for us. We were in a pop-up and had only reserved a full hook-up site, so that was a pixie dust upgrade for us!
Last trip, we were in site 1708, an inside site on the loop. This site was bigger, but there was less foliage and plants between the sites. Again, not an issue because a majority of the sites around us were empty for most of the trip anyway. We liked this site as it was set further away from the road, but it was still a quick and easy walk to the bus stop. Shorter walk to the Meadows area, so there was that benefit, but longer trip down to the Settlement.
Generally, we are in the group that thinks every site is a great site because it means your in Disney. :)

:lmao:

TRS and his wit is always welcomed. :)

Wondering if anyone has any thoughts to share about the 1000 Loop. We are coming down in the middle of August and the DW wants to do the 1000 loop. We have a 37' (ish) TT (Coachmen Catalina 343qbds) and this will be it's maiden voyage. I noticed the 1000 loop has no Comfort Station of it's own (although we are probably okay with the Facilities in our TT as it's got a descent size Bathroom). DW likes it because it's location to the Meadows as well as the relatively close location to the Pool (Across the road, across the bridge and hang a right to the pool). I am more worried about the size of our rig in this Premium loop and how easy (or difficult) it will be to get in/out.

So excited as we are in the "Sub" 3 week

We were in 1005 the week of July 4th, we loved it, the CS was right behind us and the TP was just across the street, we thought it was very convenient.

We always stay in 1500. It's Pet-Free, close to the Meadows for morning coffee, close to the pool area, and basically halfway between the Outpost and Marina. Additionally, it's a small Loop and usually very quiet.

I put in a request for 1500 when I did online check in, and plan to also fax that request tomorrow (per suggestions read on another forum), for our stay starting August 8. Never been there, but I like that it is smaller, and near the Meadows!
