:confused3 Anybody see it yet? :confused3 My search function isn't working, so not sure if there has been any reviews...

I took DS last week. It was a good quality movie, and definately very entertaining for the children. I heard a lot more laughs from kids during this movie than any other children's movie I have seen in a while.

As an adult though, while I enjoyed it, to me it was something you would not enjoy as much without a child with you.

I saw it without a child and I LOVED it!!!!! It was wonderful!! Perfect! I really enjoyed it! I am officially a Geroge fan! :thumbsup2

I thought it was very cute and sweet and a lot more "innocent" than a lot of other movies made for kids! My kids are 9 and 7, and at first I thought it might be a little too young for them, but they really enjoyed it and thought it was funny.

Brought my 5 year old to see it on Friday. We both loved it, and plan to go back to see it again with my 2 year old. While it didnt follow any of the original stories, it alluded to them a lot in some of the scenes. It was definately a lot more innocent than the more recent films that have come out, but thats what I liked about it. The drawings were done to look a lot like the original books, and there weren't any blatant attempts to have the characters take on the atributes of those actors who weer providing the voices - The Man in the Yellow Hat was played by Will Farrell, and while you could tell it was him by the voice, I had to keep reminding myself it was him. The soundtrack was really good too! All original songs.

It was very cute! A bit slow toward the end, but still cute and funny. I particularly enjoyed it because George reminded me a lot of my younger son who was left at Grandma's house. :rotfl: He seriously looked and acted a lot like my son. I found myself laughing at parts that weren't necessarily funny because I knew it was something that Quinn would do. :teeth:

DS 7 and I saw it last night. I also thought it would be too "young" for DS, but he loved it. I thought it was cute. I'm so used to double entendre kids movies like Shrek etc(which I loved)...that it was kind of surprising to see a real "clean" kids movie. DS really liked it though.

Took DD (6) and DS (4) to see it last weekend. They both enjoyed it and I did too! I'm in love with Curious George now! Very sweet movie.

I took 4 boys to see it (6, 6, 6, and 8). They all enjoyed it...I heard a few chuckles. I thought it was slow at times but really thought the animation was great. It's been hard for me to get used to the new computer animation. Did anyone notice a difference?

We took DD8 and DD6 to see it yesterday. I thought it might be a bit young for them, but they both loved it! DD6 even CRIED at one point, she was so sad for George. :rotfl: By the way this is the same child that sat through Narnia without ever taking her eyes off the screen.... didn't even flinch during the battle scenes, but the cute little monkey had her in tears!

I think this would be a great movie to take really young children to (2-4yrs) as well. It's much more geared towards "little kids" than your average children's movie.

We saw it today. We loved it! :thumbsup2 The theater was packed & no one wanted to leave at the end.

We saw it today too. Took dd6, dd4 and ds 19 months and they enjoyed the movie. My 19m old loves curious george, he stops whatever he is doing when the commercial comes on... so we wanted to take him and i'm glad we did. dd4 wasn't feeling well (3 weeks later and still sick) and she fell asleep during the movie. dd6 I thought would be too old for it but she really liked it too. Dh and I thought it was very cute too, George is a very lovable character.
