Curious about renting Vacation Club points

Can anyone give me the details on how this works and where the best place is to look for rooms available?

Just some info on renting a DVC reservation:

This is between you and the individual member. Disney will not get involved in any way, especially if you have problems.

You will not be able to confirm the reservation with Member Services. MS only talks to members. The member should be able to get you a copy of the confirmation sheet.

The member sets all the conditions for the rental. They may require full payment to make the reservation. They might not allow any changes or cancellations. They might not offer any refunds.

The member fully controls the reservation until the moment you check in.

Most members make their reservations 11 months ahead of time at their home resort. At 7 months any member can use their points at any DVC resort. You can't wait until a month or two before your reservation and expect to get the BCV, BWV or VWL. Christmas, Spring Break, Easter, etc books up early. The BWV Standard view is very difficult to get if you don't book it at 11 months ahead of time.
