Curious about previous specials

I bought from the December webinar that allowed me to buy 300 points at AKV at $92/point. I looked at current specials and from what I saw it was $105/point with the current special.

Did I finally catch a break and buy in at the absolute bottom for once in my life?

You didn't buy in at the absolute bottom for DVC. That was many many many years ago when points were first being sold. They were going for about $48 per point, originally.

That is a very good price for AKV, and I think one of the lowest, if not the lowest, offered (at the purchase level).

DVC did increase the price of the points pretty aggressively over the last couple of years, I think. I watched the incentives slowly dry up, and then finally the price per point went up a good bit, while the incentives still remained pretty non-existent.

With the given prices, I think you got a great deal. We bought 275 BLT points after DVD's first webinar (5/2009) at $92 per point. I have not seen the price go any lower than that even on the resale market.
