Curio Pin Shadow Box

Hey guys!!! I don't post much, I'm more of a lurker, but I just found something that I thought might interest some of you in the North East. We have a series of stores called the Christmas Tree Shoppes. There are quite a few of them in and around the NE. They have 14" x 17" curio/pin shadow boxes for sale. They are wood framed amd lined with pale, padded muslin. The shadow is depressed about an inch so there's plenty of room for pin on pins and 3D types. They have real glass, not plexiglass and have a stand or place to hang so they can be used both ways. Best of all.......$7.99 each. There are three types of wood, maple, walnut and black. What a bargain!! I'm not sure if they mail, but it wouldn't hurt to call and see if they would send them. If anyone is interested, email me and I'll send you the phone numbers.....

Don't go to the Christmas Tree shop in Orange. I bought them all out!
They are really pretty and hold quite a few pins, I have 4 different POM sets in one.
The salesperson said they will be getting more in soon so keep checking.
I know the Danbury one is sold out too, but Joanne got there a little late, she is waiting for the next shipment. Peggie

These shadow boxes sound great - I am not familiar with " Christmas Tree Shoppe" in Atlanta. What kind of a store is it - do they have a website?

They are a New England based company, here in Massachusetts. They have no web site of which I am aware. Wish I could help you more........

I went to the Christmas Tree shop again today and they were still out of the cabinets.
I did put my name on a list to be called when they come in. I asked for them to put aside 12 for me. They could not promise when they will come in, but they did say that they are getting more soon.
If anyone would like some let me know and I will order some more. You would of course have to pay shipping etc, and I will make sure to pack them VERY well.
I am going to post a few photos of the shadow boxes tomorrow for anyone who wants to see them, but it is 11:30 now and I need ot get off the computer. Peggie

For those of us who don't have one of these stores, are there any markings or logos on the frames themselves which could lead us to the manufacturer? We might be able to find out what other stores they sell to or if they sell direct to us.

Any info might help ...

The Curio Boxes have no brand name on them. They are wrapped in plastic and there is a cardboard band on the bottom that says "14X17 Pin Curio Shadow Box". On the back it has a sticker that says "Made in China"
I am not sure if they were made exclusively for Christmas Tree Shop but I would guess that they were because they have no company name on them.
Still trying to figure out how to post some photos of the shadow boxes,hope this works. YOu need to click on "go to picture finder" after you open the site.
