Okay, I have a crazy question. It's kinda a tradition in my family to have a cupcake :cake: for breakfast on our birthday. Since on my b-day we will be going to EE and then grabbing a late breakfast, is there anywhere at DLH, DtD, or DLpark where I can find a cupcake for breakfast before EE? Or should I go to a grocery store on Mother's Day evening and keep it in the room until the next morning?

TIA! :goodvibes

MMMm sounds yummy.

I don't think theres anywhere in DL you could get a cupcake. Maybe a muffin?

I'd stop by a store and grab one.

:bday:

Oh Amber, you are so funny!
I have noticed the cupcake reference in your tag before and now that you mention it, it makes me laugh

P.S. Sorry I have no advice on where to purchase a cupcake in DLR

Oh how I love a good cupcake. So much in fact, I too will celebrate cupcakes traditionally, by having one for breakfast before going to MK and DL...Im also a total E'clair guy and am always searching for a good one in the parks.

As to your question, Im not sure, but I thought that there used to be a place either off main street or on the way to NOS maybe. Like a pastry place...gosh, I cant remember back that far, the 80s were a wild time.:yay:

Our family does birthday pancakes. we try and put a year candle on it so we remember how old the kids are. ( i scrapbook and I think today I will remember how old they are when I take the picture no always true).
The kids look forward to it and it is a great way to start your birthday

We celebrated birthdays at DL last fall. When we mentioned the birthday at character meals, they brought a cupcake (Goofy's Kitchen) or piece of cake (Lilo & Stitch breakfast.) I would assume the other character meals would have something similar.

Not sure you were looking to spend time at a character meal, but it's an option! :)

Call the little coffee shop outside of Goofy's kitchen. I know they sell cupcakes there with mickey heads on them, I just dont know how early in the morning. I think that would be a good shot. Good Luck!

I am almost postive that the Blue Ribbon Bakery on Main Street sells cupcakes. I seem to recall my daughter getting one with pink frosting one time. If not they have lots of baked goodies and so does Pooh Corner in Critter Country. Maybe not cupcakes but something sweet and gooey at least. Maybe you can check out those places before your birthday and if they don't have any head to a grocery store nearby!

P.S. You sound like me, I want the cake to start bright and early on my big day!
