I am not sure this is the place for this thread but I wasn't quite sure where to put it!

I am interested in finding out more about the cultural representative program, I have visited the website but I am wondering if anyone has done it and can share their experiences?!

I am assuming if you apply you get placed in the Canada pavilion at Epcot, is there any chance you'd be anywhere else? Also, I know minimum wage is much lower in the States, does anyone know the rate of pay for the cultural reps? When does the program typically start, can you go all year round, or are there specific start dates? Also, is it mostly really young people? I'm 25 so is that too old? LOL.

If anyone has any info I would so appreciate it!!

I did the program a long time ago (1997) but you are placed in Canada. In my time your VISA was very specific and you could only work in the pavilion. They started at various times all year long and yes it is only minimum wage. I don't know off hand but you could just google "Florida minimum wage"

When I was there 25 was at the higher end. Most were right out of school (21-22).

It was an amazing experience. I met my husband and some of my closest friends that year. Good luck.
