Has anyone done the culinary tour of Boma and Jiko? Can you tell me what it is exactly and is there a cost? I hope I posted this question in the correct forum.

I believe it is a free tour....we meant to do it last month but there is only so much time in a day ya know?

I did it in August. It is free. You meet at Jiko, hear about the design of the restaurant, go over the menu with a chef, sample some dips and flatbreads. Then you go over to Boma and a chef talks about the buffet offerings. We sampled soup and a zebra dome. It was kind of fun. :)

Hi,

I have never heard about this tour - could I ask where do you book it & when is it on?

\thanks

I haven't heard about it either....sounds like something I am definitely interested in.
Do you book in advance?

I think the tour starts at 3:45 p.m. every day. You should check the AKL Activities Board which is located in the lobby near Bell Services. Just show up at Jiko's for the tour, no booking required.
