Cubs tickets

I tried buying the cubs tickets yesterday right when they went on sale but the two games I wanted were also the most popular and sold out before I could. (sox weekend of 6/12 and cards 7/24). Anyone know the best way to buy at least close to face value tickets? We don't really care where we sit but we do love the bleachers. Stubhub prices are way out of our budget

hehe good luck! I know with Cards tickets (and yes cub games down here are always sold out) there will usually be some tickets that are released later on, not a ton, but you can get them.

Also, stub hub tickets do tend to be better priced much closer to the actual game then months in advanced (though probably not for card/cub cub/sox games). We bought playoff tickets last year and my parents decided to come down that weekend and I ended up getting their tickets on stub hub and I think I paid like $15 over face value for each ticket.
