Where at WDW can I get a Cuban Style Sandwich?
I've always wanted to try one of these.

Bongo's at Downtown Disney serves Cuban sandwiches. We ate there twice on the our trip last month.

I had one at the Cabana Bar & Grill at the Dolphin. It was ok.
They offer one at ABC Commisary, but since I've always found the food at MGM counter-service below par, I've never dared to try it there.

My DS(15 at the time) had one at ABC Commisary. He loves snadwiches and this was the first time he had ever had one(or ever heard of one)and he thought it was good.

We just got back from WDW and ate lunch at the ABC Commisionary at MGM and had a cuban sandwich. I thought it was good and it was the first time I ever had one.

We always get the one at ABC commissary! It's good...I think it's turkey, ham, cheese, and pickles.

The one at the ABC Commissary isn't a very good version of a Cuban sandwich, though :/ I've had my share, growing up near Tampa. :)

At Disney, we've had the one at ABC and at Bongo's (plus many more on our side of Orlando), and we think the one at Bongo's is fairly authentic. The media noche is very good there as well - comes on a slightly sweet egg bread (you'll never notice the sweet).

Edit: plus, Bongo's has a counter service window with sandwiches, so you don't have to sit down inside.

Oh and about the one at ABC commissary-if you don't want the plantain chips, you can ask for fries instead for no extra charge. And while it's not super authentic (I definitely agree) it's good for someone wanting to try one because it's not too different...if that makes sense. I need to try the one at bongo's because I haven't had a real one in SO long.

Not in WDW, but in Celebration (very close) is a great restaurant called Colombia's. I've not eaten at this particular location - we plan to next week - but I've eaten at the Ybor City one many times. Their food, including their Cuban sandwiches, is great!

Now that's a place I haven't eaten in a LONG time...the last time I went to the one in Ybor, they had a fantastic arroz con pollo!

That's exactly what it did for me  I went to put lunch on anyway :)

Pressed turkey and cheese sandwich and veggie soup do not compare to Cuban food :(

The BEST Cuban sandwiches are in Miami!!! But if you must try one at WDW go to Bongo's. You cannot go wrong with a Cuban-owned restaurant. ;)

I'm Cuban and Proud!!

Olivia's at OKW has one listed on the lunch menu. Have never tasted it, so can't comment on authenticity....

Cuban Sandwich - roasted pork loin, smoked ham, swiss cheese, sliced pickles and dijon mustard with plantain chips $9.29

I know this is more information than anyone would ever ask for - but I'm going to post it, anyway.

I was born and raised here in the Tampa area - so Cuban food has always been a staple. But, as much as I love them, I would caution anyone with even minor TMJ issues to be careful with Cuban sandwiches. My dentist always told me to steer clear of "cuban bread and chewing gum." He's right - it never fails. If I have a Cuban Sandwich - my jaw is always popping later in the day or the next day.

It's delicious bread - but it's tough on the jaw!!

Get your Cuban Sandwich at Bongo's. A Cuban sandwich does not have turkey on it.. it also does not have mayonaise. *yuck* A lot of places put it on there.

I love the sandwich at Bongo's and highly recommend it.
