I'm not sure where to post this question other than in this forum. If it needs to be moved elsewhere, so be it!

Estamos buscando buena y auténtica comida cubana en Orlando. OOPS!! :) The spanish teacher in me just won't QUIT!!!

We're looking for good, authentic Cuban food in the Orlando area. We've been to Bongo's at DD before and we're looking for less $.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

¡Muchísimas gracias! Ernesto y Carmen

I Can't remember for certain if it was Orlando or not, but the Show $40 A Day on Food Network, did several shows on Flordia and one was a Cuban Restaurant. I know thye did a wondful looking place for breakfast that I want to try next trip.

Is Bongo's any good?? We're looking for a place to eat lunch on the day we fly home, and this sounds good!! Now, I've had REAL Cuban foon at a WONDERFUL little restaurant in Puerto Rico called Metropol. DH and I still drool when we think of this place. Is it authentic, or is it Americanized?

Bongos is okay- semi authentic. We go for the atmosphere.
It no way compares to the Metropol. The Metropol is as authentic as it gets.
