We're staying at CSR in late July(FT pkg). I'm really excited, especially after the great things that I've read on here about CSR. I was wondering if I should request a certain area. I have a 6 yo DD and would like to be near the food court and the main pool. Any suggestions? And any other advice - I'd gladly like to hear.

You can check out a map of CSR at my website below. Cabana 9b is a great choice but any of the cabana buildings would be fine.

I stayed in Casitas 2 and thought that was a very central location. Cabanas are a great choice also. It really comes down to what section themeing you prefer more. Good luck with your choice and WELCOME TO THE DIS BOARDS!

Just returned from CSR. We were located in Ranchos 7B which is what we requested. We were right by a quiet pool, the main pool, and bus stop 4. The walk to the food court was about 7-8 minutes, but was not bad at all. The Ranchos section is very well themed. I think my least favorite was the Casitas and that was only b/c it looked to be geared toward the convention people. If you don't mind walking to the food court, Ranchos 7B was a great building!!!
