can someone tell me what type of construction is going on at Colorado Springs and approximately how long the resort will be impacted such as gift shops and food places if they are affected at all...considering an April stay at this resort. thanks

Right now, there are two forms of construction.

First, they tore down the building FKA 9B. They are building a tower there.

Second, they are doing an 18-month (or so) refurb of all resort rooms.

As of right now, El Centro is not impacted, but over time guests may see impacts on walking paths and as they add new paths across the lake. It is impossible to predict what impacts will be occurring 10 months from now.

Also ...
- Temporary bridge now due to closed path.
- Building some new bridges on lake, one of which will be attached to new restaurant.
- Once the tower is done that will be main lobby, so some work will be done to El Centro.

Word on street is done sometime in 2019.
