We stayed at ASMu in a family suite on our last vacation but think we really want to stay at CSR next January. Our DD will be 5 at the time. I've read posts about noticing a lot less kids at CSR, I'm just wondering if it's less kid-friendly or do you think she'll enjoy herself?
TIA

My kids love it. We've stayed at POFQ, POR and CSR and they love the pool and playground at CSR the best. The slide is awesome too! The lifeguards play games and do activities with the kids around the pool area. Siestas is great too for a quick lunch and snack for the kids. CSR doesn't have the large icons like All Stars but your kids will love it.

They also do a pool opening ceremony involving all the kids. That was nice too.

Last march our DS (then 7) LOVED CSR. I tended to notice that there were more adults around, and many who were attending conventions, but DS couldn't have cared less! The pool is great for kids. I would avoid the Maya Grill - Our meal there took almost 3 hours due to slow service and other issues. I have seen others post this on other threads as well.
I think we stayed in Cabanas 9 A or 9 B - a great location!

There are plenty of kids at Coronado Springs. It's just that it's a convention resort so the percentage of adults to kids is more favored towards adults. She'll be fine.

Hi
We were at CSR this past December and it's a beautiful resort. I think it does seem to be more for adults. I was with DH for his birthday and it was great. My DD and DGD (5) and I are going to DW in August and we're staying at POFQ, mainly because of the size. CSR is so large that I just can't walk all that way to the pool or food court after a day in the parks, of course I'm older (58) so maybe that's one of the reasons. CSR does have golf carts that I heard will take people around to where they want to go, but we never saw any, so if we wanted to go anywhere, we had to walk, and walk. Also, we stayed in Cabana bldg. 9B which was a great location, close to food court and main bldg. The pool at CSR is beautiful and has a really great slide, but might be more geared for older children. POFQ has a sea serpent slide that is supposed to be more for younger children. Good luck on you decision.

My DD has love CSR since she was 5. Going on 15, she still loves everything about it. Your kids will love the main pool area.
