CSR vs POFQ

CSR, I would probably never stay there again. The experience was not as good as other resorts that I have stayed at and the longs walk to get from point A to point B and even point C.....Fuggedaboutit! I do however think the pool area is very nice and a great bar, but that is not enough to make go back.

POFQ, now your talking my language. What a perfect little resort and it really looks great. I look at tit this way, I am walking all day long at the parks, why do I want to make myself suffer when I get to the resort?! The pool is nicely themed at POFQ but CSR pool is bigger, so what....

Give me POFQ any day over CSR.

Yes I have stayed at other resorts too. POR (twice), ASM (once), CSR (once and hopefully never again) and POFQ (once but will be back soon).

Just my own personal experience, but since POFQ only has one bus stop, we found it often crowded. And since there is no queue at the bus stops at the mods, whenever a bus pulled up, it was a mad dash to the door. No regard for who was there first. It was a little chaotic during the busier bus times and/or when a bus was delayed. CSR has 4 bus stops and the order was always the same, so you knew what to expect.

In terms of frequency of buses, that can be good or bad at any resort on any given day so I don't think one is better over the others in that regard.

Really good point about there not being a queue...our two WDW stays after POFQ were at AofA and Pop, both of which had very organized bus queues. I absolutely hate disorganized lines and free-for-alls! We always do very early rope drop so never noticed any issues at POFQ with chaotic bus stops, and when departing the various parks it is an organized queue, but again a very well taken point.

My opinion... People talk about the size of POFQ all the time so I decided to try it. So glad it was only one night for a DisneyRUN because I didn't enjoy it at all. It didn't feel like Disney to me like the others plus the room seemed smaller then other moderates and the beds were horrible. I also hated the food court. Super tiny and during breakfast and lunch it was packed with no tables.

I really like CBR. I stayed there 4 years ago for a Disney stay and loved the pool and rooms. Buses were great too. So much nicer then POFQ. Was just there in feb this year for a conference and again found it great. Love the decor and theme.

But with that my favorite moderate is POR. I love the theme. It's access to downtown Disney via boat is great too. POR pool is great and the grounds are beautiful. We stayed in the bayou section. The rooms were great size for kids to play when stuck in the room with a thunderstorm. Lol
