CSR to the boardwalk/dtd

Hello! Our first day at the world we don't plan on going to any parks but would like to visit the boardwalk or maybe DTD. Is there a bus from the resort that we can take or do we have to take a bus to one of the parks first and then take another bus to DTD/Boardwalk? TIA

Yes, there is a bus you can take to DTD. It runs usually every 20 min. I think.

Enjoy the resort, it is wonderful IMHO.

There used to be a bus directly from CSR to the Boardwalk, but unfortunately that doesn' t run any more. So if you want to go to BW you'd have to catch a bus to a park or DTD and then get a bus to BW. It'll be easier to go to DTD since there's a direct bus from CSR. Plus, there's more to do at DTD. You can always visit the Boardwalk later if you'll be in Epcot; just walk out the World Showcase exit.

You can go to MGM and take the boat to the BW

Thanks guys for all the suggestions!!! DH wants to visit the BW so he can eat at ESPN and I have to order a b-day cake for DS at the BW Bakery. Can't wait!!!
