The Dolphin looks really close to CSR- what would be the quickest way to get there by Disney transportation? Alternatively, any ideas what a cab would cost?
Thanks
Beth
The CSR is in the proximity of Dolphin, but they aren't neighbors. IMO, the best way is to take cab. I find using Disney transportation from resort to resort too much of a hassle because you'll have to take the bus to the closest park, get off and wait for the other resort's bus to come get you. While it works at times, other times it can be a disaster. Cabs are running about $10-$15 plus tip for the area you want. You'd think it wouldn't cost much, but I've found rates are up considerably. Get a good look of a map of the Disney roadways to familiarize yourself with the routes so you can lay out the route with the cabbie before you jump in. That will cut your time and fare down. You might have better luck posting this on the transportation board, too. See if the mods will move it on over for you.
Oh, you could also take the bus to MGM then either walk to the Dolphin or take the boat back. You'll be the first stop on the boat ride. Schedule about an hour for all the transfers.
The Dolphin is very close but there are no resort to resort buses. Take a bus to MGM and then the boat over to the Dolphin. A cab cost me $5.75 from the BC to CSR last week.
