CSR standard room - location ?

If we can afford a moderate = CSR standard room
Looks like we can get it for about $240/night weekday
Only $40 more than our Preferred Pop room

Could we get a Casita room near the bus stop
Or would we be in the Rancho's ?

The preferred buildings are Casitas 1, 2 and 3. Casita building 4 is close to bus stop #2. There is also a bus stop in the Ranchos area.

In January we had a standard room and were in Ranchos (we requested Cabanas). However, the bus stop was very close to our building so it was pretty convenient. It was a 3-night stay and our focus was on the parks so it worked out nicely. The main pool is near there too.

Only Casitas buildings 4 and 5 have standard rooms. In my own experience, I have requested one of those buildings when staying in a standard room and have not been able to get it. Priority seems to be given to groups/room blocks or convention attendees due to the proximity to El Centro. That said, with Gran Destino Tower now open, that may not be as much of an issue. If you're not able to get a room in Casitas 4 or 5, you'd be in any of the Ranchos buildings or any of the Cabanas buildings.

The Ranchos section is too me the most beautiful themed area of the resort.

I will typically request Casitas 4 for a standard room location. But my last stay was back in Ranchos 7B. And it was a great location. Very close to a quiet pool and laundry. Fairly close to the themed pool too.
