CSR snack options

The confirmed snack list for CSR looks very short compared to some other resorts. Can anyone elaborate on some of the snack options? We usually use snack credits for cheese Danishes, muffins, etc before going to the parks each morning. Is there somewhere at CSR that sell these snack items open early so we can do this? Is it true that the only snack credit options at Cafe Rix are drinks? Also, does anyone know if there are microwaves available anywhere to warm baby cereal up? Thanks in advance for your help!

For the snack credits, last I checked (which was a couple years ago), there were many snack options inside of Cafe Rix. The typical muffins, gelato, danishes, baked goods, etc were all there and on the plan. Don't know if that changed (I can check in a couple weeks ), but that's how it was then.

As far as the microwave, I'm 90% sure there is, but this is based on logic rather than actually seeing one there. I'm sure someone in the monster CSR thread on the resorts board would know.

There is a microwave there. It is inside Pepper Market.

I'll try and talk to the pilot to see if he'll stop. If he does, it'll have to be quick as those people flying to Atlanta may have issues with an unscheduled stop in Pensacola! I doubt many of them would be DISers either , so that'd put a damper on things as they just wouldn't get it.

There's also some snack options in the gift shop - packaged stuff, like little cookie boxes or candy.

We just returned from CSR. At Cafe Rix, the usual baked goods like muffins and danishes are snacks on the dining plan. In the evenings they also have some delicious looking "specialty cake" which included strawberry shortcake and chocolate mousse cake available for snack credit. We actually only went there for the gelato a couple of evenings after returning from the parks. The "small" gelato was eligible as a snack credit and it was big enough for DH and I to share.

I also noticed they had items with the dining plan square symbol in the display cases if they were eligible on the dining plan. You just need to read the labels carefully to make sure if they were considered an entree or a snack.
