CSR Room Requests

We will be at CSR June 9 - 19th with two connecting standard rooms. I would like to be close to the dig site. Would it be best to request Cabanas or Ranchos? Being close to the Pepper Market is not critical since we don't eat at the food courts that often. I would also like to be close to bus stop and in a quiet location for night. Any suggestions on room requests? TIA.

Cabana 8a or Ranchos 7b are very close to the Dig Site. Ranchos 7b has a quiet pool so if your room is facing the pool, you have the possibility of it being noisey at times. Cabana 8a, if you have a room on the Dig Site end can also be noisey at times if the music is playing until 11:00pm. Never bothers us because we are a family of heavy sleepers. You may want to look at cabana 8b or ranchos 7a.

Is the Cabanas or Ranchos more fun for kids? Is it just a matter of personal preference. I think Ranchos looks the nicest but my 14 year old really likes the look of Cabanas. I think I also read somewhere that most of the rooms in Ranchos are considered waterview. We have booked standard view because I don't want the noise from a pool and we need two rooms.

I think most of cabana rooms are waterview. That doesn't mean anything. You still could end up with one at the standard view rate. Your 14 yr old will love the pool area. The room is a personal preference. Ranchos are more desert like and the cabanas are more caribbean like.
