CSR Question

We have stayed at CSR several times, and love the resort, but we have not stayed since the renovations have been done. We have been staying at SSR, which I also love, but they don't have any Studio's available, so we are staying in a preferred room at CSR. My question is, I had read somewhere that the rooms have been renovated with showers only and there are very few rooms with a tub. I have had back surgery and just had another procedure done, and look forward to soaking in a tub at night (as the main pool/hot tub is a long walk). Are the preferred rooms showers only, or do some of them have tubs, and I can request that?

I just saw a video taken this year and it had a tub and another video that had a shower. You may want to call to confirm, With Disney being a kids place you would think they would keep the tubs for parents to bath little ones in.

I've seen Youtube videos that show a bath/shower combo in the refurbished rooms. I would check in at the desk, and ask for one that has a tub.

I was in Casitas 4 (NOT a "preferred room") a couple weeks ago in room 4263 and it had a shower/tub combo, so some rooms definitely still have that.
I would specifically request a shower/tub combo as your only request.

I've stayed at CSR 3x in the past year. All three renovated rooms had a shower/ tub combo. Two were in Casitas 4 and one was in Casitas 5.

There will be both types of rooms. Request a room with a tub and state it's for medical reasons.
