I am sure that this has been asked and answered here many times before, but please forgive me for asking again.
We are thinking about staying at CSR on our trip next year, but I was wondering about the size of the resort in comparison to CBR. We stayed at CBR last year, and loved the resort, but were fortunate enough to be in Trinidad North which was pretty close to Old Port Royale. However, I know that CBR is a huge resort, and I was wondering how close in size Coronado is. In comparing the maps of both resorts CBR appears to be a little larger, but it's hard to tell the distance of the buildings to the main parts of the resort. The DH and I don't mind walking at all, but I was just trying to get an idea of how much walking would be involved if we were to get a room that was farther away than all the rest.
TIA!

CSR surrounds a 15 acre lake and CBR surrounds a 45 acre lake.

CSR has its check in and restaurants in the main building and CBR has separate buildings with its check in being quite a distance from everything.

CSR has elevators in each building and CBR has no elevators.

Buzz had the exact measurements on another thread with a similar question. The CBR is definitely larger than the CSR. If you want a room close to the food court, ask for the Cabanas or Casitas 1 or 2.

We don't neccessarily HAVE to have a room near the food court. I was just curious as to how far we would have to walk if we did get one of the farthest away rooms...you know, just thinking "worst case scenario". I know that it wouldn't be a big deal regardless of how far away we were, as we would make the best of it, but I just wanted an idea.
I've looked through several of the threads regarding the CSR, but with all the different posts, I couldn't find it.

We always stay in the Casitas section because it is our favorite. We usually are in Building 4 or 5 (5 the last two years). It is about a five to seven minute walk to the Main building (registration, Pepper Market, Gift Shop, Maya Grill, Rix Cafe, etc.) and about a seven to ten minute walk to the Dig Site pool (main pool). It is literally a 45 second walk to the quiet pool and the spa. I have not stayed in the other sections; I know Cabanas is closer to the main building and the Dig Site; the Ranchos is the farthest from anything. All the sections are very pretty, we just prefer the Casitas.
