CSR question about early check-in

My brother and his family will arrive at the airport around 9am. I know check-in isn't until the afternoon. What do you think the chances would be of them having a room ready that early? They have two toddlers who will have been up since 3am. They don't want to go to the parks because my brother knows his children will be very cranky and tired and they will want a place to rest. Does CSR have a hospitality room? If not, do you have any suggestions of where they could rest? I think they just want to hang out at the resort all day. We arrive later that afternoon around check-in. Thank you!

I have not stayed at the CSR but, I do not think that there is a hospitality room, there are none at the resorts I've stayed in.
Its always a gamble as to whether the room will be available, in all my recent trips I have only had to wait for a room 2 times. My most recent trip we had 3 rooms booked and none were ready because the TA had indicated we wanted rooms that were next to each other. When I explained that this was not necessary, but that we would at least like to be in the same building, they were able to let us have one of the rooms to settle into before hitting the parks.
When your brother gets there, if they tell him his assigned room is not ready he could ask if anything was ready, and he can take what they have. It may not be in section that he wanted.

On my last three trips to Disney, our room has ALWAYS been available on arrival. That may not always be true of course.

On my first trip to CSR, I arrived at 11:15am at the resort and joy of joys, my room was 100% available.

My understanding is that room assigners will take into account the DME arrival information (if you're using DME) to try and assign a room that will be available upon your arrival at the resort.

That's not always possible. But when it is, that's my understanding.
