CSR pool closing 3/31

I just called and confirmed the same thing. Aargh! I have called four times in the last month and no one knew anything. Now the system is down and they can't check availability anywhere else.

thanks for the warning. the rehabs say it would be closing - but this is the first I have heard of with dates.

I can't believe it. I called two days ago (and two weeks ago and last month) and they tried to convince me I was confusing it with CBR. We are going to need to switch resorts, which might be impossible at this date. I might even have to consider staying off-site, which we never do. I cannot even express how disappointing this is.

I'm breathing a HUGE sigh of relief for us... but I really feel for the folks booked in for April. It's such a shame for those really found the Dig Site pool to be a big selling point for CSR.

I just called awas told that it is only the slide which will be closed til the end of April 30 --they rest of the pool will be open. Now I don't know what to do. We are going from April 26-May4.

I was just told that starting on 3/23 just the water slide will be closed. not the pool.

What a shame for all those going in April!

We are arriving on May 15th for a quick 4 night stay following our Disney cruise. This will be our first stay at CSR (Buzz's awsome thread convinced us to try it!) I hope for my kids sake that they finish on schedule. My kids DD 11 and DD 9 would be so disappointed if the slide is closed.

I'm really ticked about this! I had called 3 times before asking about the pool closure and was always told it's not true. Now, with only a month and a half until our trip, we find out it is actually true. You can imagine what resorts are available, not many. So I had to do a split stay at All Star Sports and Animal Kingdom Lodge. Well, at least now I could use the disney visa code and got the tickets upgrade.
