CSR or WL

Right now I am booked at CSR but am looking at WL. Have heard terrible things about bussing at WL and that the bussing at CSR is wonderful. Which do you prefer?

They are both great resorts. I love CSR! The grounds, pool, atmosphere...I just get more of a vacation feel...like I'm in Mexico than WL. But it all depends what you like. CSR does have great (non shared) buses and the location makes for short rides to all the parks. Have fun either way!! Check out buzz's CSR website.

I don't think you can compare the two resorts, overall.

As far as buses, I rode a ton of them when we were at CSR. I hopped to resorts and well as to parks. I rode lots of buses from most of the resorts. I really didn't see much difference, in the end. Each place has it's pluses and minuses.

It probably comes down to theming. I love inside corridors, and the WL lobby is just beautiful. I sat for an hour in the lobby, and just relaxed. For me, it would be WL without a doubt.

I agree it comes down to theming and its hard to compare the resorts in that area. If you will use the amenities you are paying for or rather they are important to you, then go with WL. For example some people cannot take a moderate because of the exterior corridors and lack of balconies. To some people they feel very motel-ish. Now I don't feel that way at all and so am happy to go moderate. I loved CSR, it has the more tropical theming which I like, I loved the lake, the main pool was awesome and the whole feel of the resort really appealed to me. CSR also has some nice amenities that other mods don't like a room service menu, spa and health club.

For me personally, both the WL and AKL can never justify me spending the extra money because the rooms are not that much bigger than a mod room. Other people see it totally different!

If the theming appeals to you and the extra money doesn't bother your budget go for the WL. I wouldn't base a stay anywhere on transportation issues alone as all the resorts are hit or miss in that area in my book.

We're doing a split stay in August...4 nights WL... 3 nights CSR.
The best of both worlds, we hope.

I've never stayed at WL, but we had a heck of a time catching a timely bus to and from there when we went for dinner at WCC. All in all CSR busses are timely and having four stops is very convenient. Stick with CSR, it's the best resort package going

In my opinion WL we stopped by there on our last visit to WDW and just thought it was so beautiful i didnt realize how big that place actually is.
