CSR or POLY????

We are a family of 4. DS 16 and DD 9. We are looking at 2 room at CSR..cannot gaurantte connecting but will request it. Or one room at Poly. We have never stayed on site, this is only our second trip.

I would choose the Poly hands down. CSR is beautiful, and the grounds are beautiful. But....nothing beats the monorail resorts. Just the transportation is worth it, not to mention the location. Sitting on the beach watching the fireworks and water parade.

The rooms are plenty big enough for a family of 4.

So many other things too.....but you get the idea.

I would also recommend the Poly. You can't beat being on the monorail and the rooms at the Poly are huge! There is also a sofa bed so the room actually sleeps 5...very convenient for your kids...they can each have their own bed. I enjoyed our stay the CSR too but there's just no comparison between the CSR & the Poly. You'll love it.

I'll surprise you. I would stay at the Poly too. If money is no object, go for it. The Poly is one deluxe I definitely want to try. You can't compare a deluxe to a moderate.

We are looking at staying at CSR again for a conference this summer and it *is* a very nice resort. I personally prefer POR (Bayou side) for a moderate - I really like the lush landscaping - all the trees and little ponds and shade. CSR is very sunny and desert-y feeling. Very well done but perhaps not so much my cup of tea.

I too have always wanted to stay at the Poly so I've booked a 2 night stay there - CSR 3 nights for the conference and then to the Poly for 2 nights. It looks awesome and I think the kids will love the pool. We've stayed at CR and so far that is their favorite resort cause of the monorail and being able to walk to the MK. CR might be a bit cheaper if that interests you.

With older kids (if the really like the pool) I wonder how the YC or BC would be because of the large pool area which is more like a waterpark? Just throwing that out there......
