CSR not what I expected...

Welcome back! CSR is a fabulous resort! We totally enjoyed our stay there a few years back.

We also were at CSR recently (June 11-18) and absolutely loved it! I am sorry to here that some people's check- in was not the magical experience that ours was. We arrived around 1p.m. and there was no line at all, walked right up to the window. Our cast member checking us in was John from New York and he was very friendly. In fact after check in was complete we stayed and talked to John another 10-15 minutes. We have encountered many nice cast members over the years but he is by far the best!

Yeah, I'm so excited, we changed our split stay to a single at CSR in Sept during free dinning, and with reviews like this I can't wait to go. I hope our experience is as nice as yours.

Ok, so I am a liitle new at this, when you say "your split stay" what exactly do you mean?? Two hotels, one trip??

You will love CSR at Christmas. We stayed there last December and it was beautiful -not that it isn't already beautiful.

We have always stayed deluxe - but our next WDW adventure will be a moderate - CSR !

We too were learing toward Cabana's - but are now set on staying at the Caista's.

Thanks for the tip of using the snack credit at the Pepper Market.

We are saving our pennies - We can not wait till we return to stay at CSR

I love CSR! I'm so glad you enjoyed it as well.. it's really beautiful at christmas time too with the huge tree in the lobby and all the decorations...

so far (i'm going to POFQ soon) it's my favorite moderate!

I couldn't agree more! I loved our stay at CSR! We did eat at the Pepper Market and everything we had there was wonderful. We were in the Cabanas section, which was nice. Hope you get to go back soon!

Got a chuckle out of the pic on the surrey bike. Your hubby is putting his hand up like he either does not want his pic taken or he is not ready to have his pic taken.

We will be staying at CSR for the first time in Aug. I'm so glad you had a great time. Thanks again for sharing the pretty photos. It makes me wish I was there now.

Thanks, we use a Canon Powershot A620. I hated that camera when we bought it as it's much bulkier than most but I really fell in love with the quality of the pics!

Yep, my DH had had enough. It was a "stick a fork in me I'm done" look!

Have super fun in August! You'll love it.

We just returned from CSR about a month ago and it was one fo the best stays we've had at WDW. It's a great resort and very beautifully landscaped. Thanks for sharing your photos!

Hey Buzz, we will be at CSR in October and have requested the Cabanas section ,mainly because of the info from your awesome website...My question for you is, if we can't get the Cabanas what building in the Casistas do you like? It seems like everyone that stays in the Casistas loves it over there...
