CSR fully booked for Sep '08?

Hi folks,
I have just booked our vacation for next year & had really wanted to stay at CSR but was told that there was nothing available so we are now staying at CBR,is there a reason for CSR not being available? I could still have booked it thru' a UK agent but WDW were offering best price!

I would keep trying back. Guests change their plans all the time.

Keep trying! Things always open up. Especially since you have a year to try.

if its through a uk agent they room allocation may have been booked as each tour operator like thomson, virgin holidays etc only buy a certain amount of rooms. they should be able to request it though. I used to work fro virgin and thomson and we would request the room if our allocation was booked up

Keep your CBR reservation, but keep trying CSR. This happened to us last year. We wanted to stay there for 2 weeks in May. Tried to make the reservations in the August before. Nothing available, so we went ahead and made other plans. Soon the first week was available, then about a month later the last week was available but not the first. About 2 months before our trip the whole time was available. We ended up staying there for only one of the weeks, though, because we were kind of looking forward to the other resort by that time.

If you really want to stay there, keep calling. Check the disney website about once a week, and you'll see, it will come up. Then call and book it right away. Have a wonderful trip. You'll love CSR.

Last year (2006) free dining had NOTHING (AAA, Travelocity, WDWTravel, Expedia) for CSR for the first 4 weeks free dining was offered... then my AAA agent said it opened up! WDWTravel had a special thru AirTran for flights - I called them and booked through them to grab the special (sorry AAA).

We did book a couple of rooms for next Septembers bounce back (free dining) at CSR. We stayed at POR this year, because I got an incredible deal there, but my teenage son just LOVES CSR - He just Digs the Dig site!
