CSR and refillable mugs?

If we want to just go into the Pepper Market and refill our mugs can we do this ourselves?

There is no need to go into the PM. Now you can refill at the Rix Cafe without going into the PM. They added a new refill station there. Also, you can use the window to the right of the entrance to refill your mugs.

Yes when I was there in December I refilled at Cafe Rix it as very convienient!
Also note that CSR does not have the typical blue mugs they have their own.
I made the mistake of buying a year of a million dreams mug at Pop (split stay) and could not use it there.

Is there a place to refill at the pool as well? I thought I read that somewhere, we are going in December, and hopefully we will have a lot of pool time!

I'm guessing you can't use the CSR mug at other resorts neither? We're doing 9 days-10 nights days at CSR followed by 4 days-3 nights at AKL in december. With 3 adults it would be a bummer having to buy new refillable mugs. I really like the blue YOAMD mugs because of the ability to do a split stay and keep using the same mug during that trip.
