CSR and conventions

Is there any way to find out which convertions/trade shows will be at CSR for a given date range?

My DW and I will be heading down to CSR for a long weekend (without the kids) at the end of April, and I just started to wonder what the convention would be.

Great news, no conventions on our dates in October. They check in when we check out. Do you think they will had more conventions 5 months out?

We just came back from CSR and while there were no conventions listed on that site for our dates, there were companies there and using the ballrooms. Not sure they were huge conventions, but I did notice people in business attire walking around. Maybe they only post the big ones there?

We have stayed CSR six times (seven coming...but not soon enough!). There has been a convention there almost everytime we have stayed and we have never had any issues with the conventioneers. Out of all the times we have been there, we have seen them at the pool once...and it was mid-morning when we decided to sleep in and go to the parks in the afternoon. Like mjost of the regular vacationers there, they had a drink or two by the pool, and sat amongst themselves or went in the pool. We normally only see them in the morning when we are going to get our coffee before heading out for the day and occasionally they will be at the bar at night or there will be a private party on the beach. We have never felt they interefered with or disrupted or imposed our vacation. We feel sorry for them actually. We're there having a great time and they are working!
