CSMGE or Palms Hotel by Lexington?

Has anyone stayed of either of these in the past few months? I can't decide which hotel! I have reservations for both, $58.25/nt at CSMGE and $55/nt at Palms Hotel by Lexington (which I guess used to the Hampton Inn on Parkway Blvd). Both rates include 'resort fee'. We stayed at CSMGE about 5 years ago and really liked it. Trip is me and 12 yo DD (who will turn 13 on our last park day!), and we will have a car. Is Palms Hotel as nice as it looks online? It says it's newly renovated. I know CSMGE is ranked #2 or #3 on tripadvisor, but I'm leaning towards Palms because of the kitchen (not that we'll use it much, but it's nice to have the fridge w/freezer). I'm hoping for very clean, not musty/smoky smelling, good water pressure in shower, enough hot water. We are basically there for the parks but do like someplace nice to come back to at night. HOW BAD are the timeshare folks at CSMGE?
