cseca wedding PJ... SBP/AAP/Italy West 4/28/08... Hi again!

Thank you!
I feel better now... I have this thought that the right wedding hair is an updo... phew...

Thanks... it's all Nathan and Jensey I tell you... they make us look better than we do... :rotfl:

oooohhh... don't you love them?
I asked them if they are doing any wedding after Carrie's and they said one more... Must be yours!!!
You have to post your engagement pics... I wanna see... :thumbsup2
Where'd you do your pics?

Thanks... I think we should start a non updo wedding hair style craze... :lmao:

Thank you Keira!

I'll post my engagement pics soon. We only have 3 right now but the rest should be online shortly! I cant wait! They took some really neat pictures and I cannot wait to see how they turned out!

I am all for starting a non updo wedding hair style craze :rotfl:

My only issue with keeping my hair down is that I'm outside for both the ceremony and reception so if it's windy, I'm screwed! Hahaha I'll figure something out.

But like I said before your hair looks gorgeous in your pics and you should definitely leave it down like that for your wedding :)

THree of the bridal magazines I've looked at recently had entire sections of hairstyles that were NOT up-dos. And believe me, your hair will be gorgeous, down around your shoulders with the veil & tiara. I say go for it, absolutely! If you didn't have gorgeous hair (my problem), you might want it to be up and "fabricated", but you will DEFINTELY look gorgeous with it down.

Yeah I know what you mean about being windy... but on the other hand you'll get that windswept look for your pictures ... :rotfl:... it'll look more dramatic. I bet N&J will be able to come up with great ideas with windy condition...

Can't wait for your pics!!!

Really?
Which magazines are those? I have to look at those for some ideas...

Thank you so much for the compliments ... I'm sure your hair looks gorgeous! I had mine with an updo for my sister's wedding... I felt like I aged 10years... hehe...

I'm sure they can. Actually I was just looking at some of my engagement pics and really my hair doesnt look too windblown. So they got some good shots even though I know it was windy that day. My hair was all over the place!

PS I posted the link to my pictures on another thread today :)

1. $755 for SBP AV & Tech services?
Seriously?
My BEO listed SBP AV & Tech services totaling almost $800.
We wanted an iPod set up but if it's going to cost us almost the same amt of $ as a live musician don't you think I should get a live one instead?

Does anybody know if this amt is correct?

2. Event location cost.
My sales consultant told me that if we use 2 in-park locations we will only be charged for 1 of them (the higher one of course). However, in our BEO I'm being charged for both... ACK!!! Do any of you gals remember your BEO clause?

Thank you!!!

Ok, now that I've gotten the BEO I can show and tell you guys our cake and menu...

here's our cake BUT imagine it being 2 layers AND the colors are changed a little bit... The base color will be white and the flowers will be pink, brown and blue, leaves will be green... :)
12119cake.jpg

They quoted us $400 ($10pp for 40 people already including cutting charge but not including the $80 handling fee).

And here's our menu for 30people:
Pre-rec $36
California rolls with pickled ginger, wasabi & soy sauce
Chicken sate with peanut sauce
Cheese sticks with marinara sauce
Veggie spring rolls with dipping sauce
We are trying to nix out the calif rolls because the cost of the pre-rec is a bit high for 4 item and the rolls aren't that great since they used immitation crab meat.

Reception (Buffet) - $68
Sundried tomato grilled salmon fillet with tarragon sauce & Asiago mashed potato
Oriental style chicken breast with blackbean sauce
Mushroom Risotto

Action station:
Penne Pasta with Asiago sauce
Lo Mein noodles with stirfry vegetables, chicken and soy sauce
Seared Beef medallions in a tarragon beurre blanc

Soft rolls, Pretzel Bread & Butter

Coffe & Hot Tea

We're thinking of taking out the beef dish to save some $ but we'll see if they'll let us :)

DP - $29
Assorted Petit Cheesecake (no pumpkin one tho) - sooo good
Choc eclairs -yum
fruit tarts - oh yum yum
choc fudge brownies
tiramisu
warm apple cobbler with fondant
Coffee, tea, fruit punch

Hope this helps someone!!!

1. I'm not getting married at SBP, but I'm paying the same kinds of fees at YCG for sound. It's more for the microphones so my guests can actually hear the ceremony. I guess since it's outside it makes things a little more challenging. You might still have to pay those fees even with a live musician so ask Carol and she'll let you know :)

2. I'm technically using two park locations and I'm paying for both locations! It's expensive :) Silly Disney.

PS your food looks yummmmy. I'm going to stop by your reception, ok? ;)

Your reception food sounds delicious and I like your cake. Where did you choose your pre-reception food from? I don't remember seeing anything like that on any of the Disney menus. Thanks!

Hi Marcy
Seriously? Wow... I was wondering why they would need a microphone since there are only 30 of us... LOL!!! I know our videographer probably would need mics but they're bringing their own... so this is confusing to me...
I'll ask Carol and see what she says.

And the 2 location cost... man... that's not what my sales consultant said. I need to talk to her again... :(

Thanks!
Oh and definitely stop by... hehehe... We'll have Nate and Jensey take our pics together ;)

I just pretty much give them a list of food we like and see which ones they can make. Since we are going for the american and asian food I picked 2 of each. The chefs could pretty much try to make whatever you have in mind... Good luck and let me know if you have any more questions...

Haha cute idea. I'm sure they could do that :)

Let me know what happens with the location thing. I would be interested to know :)

Hey, sweetie! I'm sorry I hadn't gotten back here to respond. CHeck out "IN STYLE" Weddings -- the issue with Elisabeth Rohm on the cover. THere is a whole section on hairstyles with some really pretty ideas. The newest "Bridal Guide" also has some pretty long hair non-updo styles, including on the cover. Those are the only 2 I have with me today. ;)

aaawwwww thank you... :cloud9:
The plans are coming along slowly... the BEO is giving me a headache right now but I hope we can get it signed and stuff in a week or so. Still waiting for my flowers budget... sigh...

I'll see if my library has them... I've spent so much $ on wedding magazines :rotfl:
Thanks for the help!
