CS with Fixin's Bars

My family and I are headed to WDW in 20 days!!!! and I am trying to put together a list of what CS we want to hit up. NO, we are not going to do DDP (no interst in paying $480 for food when I can easily spend only $200 for all three of us for all 4 days and not have the hassle of ADRs and "oh, crap I have credits left!").

Anyway, I know that the CS in America (Epcot) and Pecos Bill (MK) have Fixin's Bars for thier meals. Can anyone tell me what exactly I can expect on the FB? I've already heard about grilled onions and mushrooms, but what else is there?

I can't wait! Three weeks from RIGHT NOW, I will be walking around Animal Kingdom!

Cosmic Ray's was loaded. It had the mushrooms, etc. The liberty Inn at Epcot has lettuce, onions, tomatoes, pickles and such.

Cosmic Ray's may have had kraut too. If they have hot dogs on the menu, they will. I used to embarrass my wife by having a kraut side dish at Pinnochio Village Haus back when they had a fixin's bar before they changed their menu.

For a nice fixin's bar with good food options go Cosmic Ray's.

I've read that El Pirata y el Perico has a fixins bar... I've never been there because it's always closed when I go I think their hours are 11:30-3:00 and they're not open everyday, but you might try. It's right by Pecos Bill's in MK. I've heard they have great taco salads with just the shell & meat, then you add what you want. I hope it's open when I go so I can finally try it! Have a magical trip

I just read, I believe on allears.net, that P&P is open now and for the next few months. Woot! That said, Pecos Bill's also has the great taco salad and fixin bar. And btw the sour cream comes on the plate with the taco salad. I looked all over the fixins bar for sour cream before I saw it sitting right there on my plate.

Cosmic Rays in MK has one. You can also order an extra bun at a small charge and order the double cheeseburger and viola two burgers for half the price. Add the toppings like fried mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, pickles, hot peppers, lettuce and your all set.

All CS places you can get lettuce,tomato,mayo etc for your burgers, but some have bars with lots of different things on them.

Pecos Bill's is the best for a great fixin's bar. I would prefer it here over Cosmic Ray's where the set up is ridiculous. You just can't go wrong with Pecos Bill's!

They used to but it's been gone for awhile -- you can get chile cheese fries there though........

Oh, okay, thanks! We've gone every trip except the last, so I guess they did away with it sometime last year.

Yes thanks PicesAngel! The sour cream is in an individual closed package. I am actually really glad it wasn't open on the fixins bar

The last time I was there, Pecos Bill's still had the melted cheese on the fixins bar. That was last November. Their bar is much much better than Cosmic Ray's. We never miss Pecos Bill's. Mostly for the chicken wraps.
