CS with A/C

While in Disney in August, we discovered that for us, it's important to schedule a counter service meal at a location that is air conditioned. The heat this August was stifling, and the one time we ate at a cs venue with only outdoor seating (Yak and Yeti), it was a disaster. We were too hot to enjoy our food, even though we were sitting in the shade. Also, the outdoor trash containers attract yellow jackets. We quickly learned a new rule for us: Air conditioning is a MUST for counter service meals; there is no way for us to enjoy our food and get a much-needed rest if we are still overheated and sweating!

I agree; we were there 2 weeks ago and it was extremely humid (no shock there, though! ) We lucked out @ the MK. When we went to get our traditional Dole Whip, it was around 6:00 pm. Hardly anyone was in the area and we sat at tables nearby with a lovely fan cooling us off. That was great. But we did seek out the A/C when choosing a spot.

At AK many of the CS don't have A/C.

We eat at Restaurantasauras which has A/C seating as well as outside seats. So you can choose. We always sit indoors as well as I hate to be hot. LOL

At MK, Cosmic Ray's and Peco's Bills have AIR, not sure of the others, but I am sure there are some others.

Epcot, Sunshine Seasons is inside so it has AIR.

And DHS don't have a clue as we aren't there long enough to need a meal.

Yes, there are many cs places with a/c in most of the Disney parks, although I think only Pizzafari and Restaurantasaurus at AK. We didn't think it'd matter and wanted to try Y&Y. Unfortunately it did matter, and I honestly cannot remember what we ate that day... just got it down and moved on (to Kali River Rapids, to cool off!!)
