Every year when we go to Epcot we say we are going to try something different for our CS lunch. However, when we get there we are so overwhelmed by the choices that we always end up at the same places. :confused3 This time I want to be prepared!!! I need some suggestions of great CS at Epcot. I am open to anything. DH and DS different story...pretty darn picky. I've looked at menus and from what i can tell I want the snack size fish and chips from Yorshire in England. DS would probably eat that too. DH..no chance HATES fish. Is there anything close to that where he could get something?

Anyway..any suggestions would be great. Thanks!!!:thumbsup2

The choices are all relative close for the most part. You can select something at one counter service place then walk to another and actually sit and dine at yet another if you wish.

One of my favorite counter service places is Tangierine Cafe in Morocco. They have hamburgers and pizza for those who do not want to try the other choices.

Yakitori House in Japan does a few nice selections also, as does Germany's Sommerfest and the bakeries at Norway and France.

Hope that helps a bit. (Canada does not have counter service by the way).

Another vote for Tangierine Cafe, definitely one of the best CS on property. Also Sommerfest in Germany is great and a lot of people don't notice it because it's tucked all the way in the back.

I was going to say Tangerine Cafe too! It's become a must-do every trip. Dh and I really like it, and the children's menu is great for our picky one!

I have got to 110% agree on getting whatever you want at whatever counter service you want and then all eating together. For example, my son wanted the nachos in Mexico, I wanted the fried rice and egg rolls in China, and my husband wanted a cheeseburger in America. Son got his noachos to go, I got my Chinese to go, and we all ate back in America. I can tell you for certain that the Chinese food stayed VERY hot.

We tried the Yakitori House for the first time this year. I didn't think I'd like it at all. I mean, chicken thighs? But it was a nice change of pace for us. I know that some people will go to Japan and get something to go and enjoy it back in Canada during Off Kilter performances.

At the fish and chips place, I hate fish too. But the side order of just chips makes a nice snack. Your husband could do that and continue on to the next counter service he would like to try.

If you are in FW, we loved Sunshine Seasons in the Land. Very good counter service food, and my picky ones were able to get something!

Have fun

Of all the cs places in Epcot, I vote for Sunshine Seasons hands down...

Try to eat at off times because it can get very busy...and here's a great tip if you want to eat your food hot. Get your drink and dessert 1st then go thru the hot food line....You're ready for the cashier and your food stays hot!

Yet another vote for The Tangierine Cafe! :thumbsup2

What we look to do is split some meals up at a couple CS. We had one combo at the Tangerine Cafe and it was great to split and try some different things. Then a couple hours ago we went to the place in Mexico and had a delicious (fattening) meal there with a nice churro for dessert. He may like something there.

You guys all have great ideas. We will probably be at Epcot a couple of times during out stay. (We use to not be too into Epcot..but it's grown on us the past couple of visits) We will definately try Tangerine Cafe and I like the idea of everyone getting something from different places and us just meeting up somewhere to eat it together. I'm glad to hear you can do that. Sunshine Seasons sounds great too. I'm a sucker for the deserts. I want to try a dessert in every country! (and a beer!!!)

We found the ham and cheese croissant at the French bakery wonderful, plus we got a scrumptious dessert while we were going through the line!
