We are 4 adults and 2 kids on the DDP for 7 nights. This should give us 42 CS credits. Can we purchase 4 CS meals at a time and split them between the 6 of us, stretching our credits out for "10 1/2" CS meals?

The CMs will not let you use the kids' credits for adult meals. As long as you make sure to order at least one kids' meal at each CS place, yes.

I thought there was no distinction made between kids and adults CS credits:confused3

The DDP rules state that kids' credits are to be used to purchase kids' meals.

The CM taking your order will only allow you to purchase as many adult meals as listed on your key.

I am sure you will still have plenty of food if you order 3 adult meals and 1 kids meal at each CS. We are going to be sharing meals, too. We just don't eat that much and don't want to waste food. Our younger girls will just split kids meals while we split the adult meals. We are even going to share at some TS meals that are not buffets.

I believe there is a list somewhere of places that don't offer kids meals so the kids DO get to eat off of the adult menu. But I am not sure where that list is located. I think Toy Story Pizza is one of those. :)

That's true -- but in purchasing the DDP for 4 adults and 2 children for 7 nights, what you have purchased is 28 adult CS meals and 14 kids' CS meals.

So if you wished to purchase just 4 adult CS meals at a time and share them among your family members, you could do that 7 times...then all of your adult CS credits would be used up and all you would have left is 14 kids' CS credits. The DDP rules specifically state that those kids' credits are not to be used to purchase adult meals, whether or not they are separate -- 14 of the CS meals you paid for are kids' meals, which are much, much cheaper than adult meals. But, I know you already know this from similar posts I've seen from you on this subject :goodvibes

If you didn't want to order kids' meals with those last 14 credits, then you could go specifically to CS places that don't have kids' menus:

• Catalina Eddie
• Taluca Turkey Legs
• Cool Wash Pizza
• Casey's
• Pete's Doggone Good dogs
• Pizza Planet
• Sommerfest
• Yorkshire County Fish Shop
• Main Street Bakery

Here's the question I do have, and maybe a mod can help on this one: you can only order the number of entitlements that are on your KTTW card -- in this poster's case, the max she could order for one meal would be 4A and 2C CS meals. She is planning on only ordering 4A meals at one time, which would leave her with 14 kids' CS credits, and she could only use them 2 at a time (maximum 2C credits for one meal, because only 2 kids on the KTTW card). But what if she spent her remaining CS credits at those places listed above that have no kids' menus? Would she be able to use up to 6 total CS credits there, since there are no kids' meals? :confused3

Okay, I'm  If the CS are pooled, how do they distinguish between what is an A or C? :confused3
I have heard a lot of conflicting statements about it. :confused3

This is just a guess...

I think the reason they don't differentiate between adult and child CS is because some CS places don't have a kids selection. At those places, the CM would have to ask how many of the entrees were for the kids and how many for the adults. That would be the only way to accurately deduct the credits if they did differentiate at those types of places. If all CS places had a kids selection, I'm sure they would have something in place to differentiate the two.
