We have stayed at POR Riverside once and FQ several times. This year we would like to try one of the other moderates.

We would love your insights into Coranado Springs and Carribean Beach.

CBR requires alot of walking.

it is beautifully.

CSR - also require walking - that say it has a beautiful pool, nice pool bar, plus a spa, gym and beauty salon.

now some people don't like their quick service - first it requires a tip....10%. It is pretty expensive - so look at the prices FIRST - that say it has some nice deals occasionally.

For our family there is no question...CBR.

Simply put, the theming is better, the food court is better/easier to navigate, the pool is amazing and the resort has a very relaxed feel with superior Disney service.

CSR is colder to us with the conference center and many conference guests. It just has an overall non-disney feel to us.

CBR is large but very manageable. A quick 10 minute (at the very most) walk from any room to the main Old Port Royale area housing the feature pool, food court, shopping and concierge. Or if you prefer, there is also an internal bus to get around the resort.

We've never stayed at CSR, but we loved CBR. We loved the pool (which has been redone since our stay), the food court was great, and the transportation was quick and efficient. CBR is big and spread out, but we didn't mind it. The grounds are beautiful and the resort is centrally located that it didn't long getting around to any of the theme parks, water parks, or DTD. Good luck deciding, but I'm sure you'll have a great trip no matter which resort you choose.

CSR is awesome!!! Its so much nicer in my opinion. The bonus is that they have a QS at the pool, yummy food, plus you can refill your mugs there! So you dont have to walk to the main building all the time. Its great! They have queen beds at CSR....I think at CB they still have doubles, no? CSR has one of the BEST bus service I have ever experienced. I never waited more than 5 min for a bus, and the bus was always empty! After wishes at MK, the bus came right away. And we actually got a seat! Its truly amazing. Plus the resort is so gorgeous and has a tropical feel to it.

Not op here but thanks for this info! I have a split stay w this resort in June and was debating switching to POR where I've been before but this makes it much easier to stick with my decision :)

Have been to Coronado and loved it. Those queen beds are nice! The pool is wonderful. We actually enjoyed the Pepper Market and ate at Maya Grill one night and enjoyed it too. That said, I just booked us for CBR simply because we were booked at Pop and for only $100 more we could book CBR and wanted to try a different resort. Coronado and CBR are both quite large and depending on what room level you book you could do a lot of walking, which wasn't an issue for us. I would think you'd enjoy either resort.

Have never stayed at CSR but we Love CBR. I think the ages in the group my play a factor. Theming at CBR is fabulous and great for kids. The main pool is fun and there's a new water play area that is enclosed to keep little ones from wandering. Each 'country' also has their own quiet pool. The food court has a really wide selection. And there's an outdoor bar at the pool. You can sit out near the bar/food court on the marina and see the fireworks from Epcot - with no crowds. We've only had a bus issue once in all our stays (and we don't rent a car). Laundry was never an issue either. If the walk concerns you, there is preferred location which keeps you on the food court/main pool side of the Cay and makes for a very quick walk to everything. We always pay for preferred location but the one time it was not available, the walk was long but manageable. Though walking across the Cay at night by myself to get a snack gave me the creeps. Not that I felt totally unsafe but it kept me more on the alert than usual.
Friends that stay CSR say it seems much more adult oriented.?
