CS meals with DxDP?

We are going to WDW in September and will have DxDDP, how does CS meals work with deluxe? I know it is not the best use of a credit but DH is insisting we eat at Cosmic Rays and since we will be going with our 2 year old DS, it just might be more convenient at times to eat quickly. Since deluxe includes an appetizer, does that work at CS as well?

Nothing changes with the Deluxe, Per the brochure you get:

Each quick-service meal includes:
•1 entrée or 1 complete combo meal
•1 dessert (lunch and dinner only)
•1 single-serving, non-alcoholic beverage

If you use a DxDDP credit for a CS meal, you will only get what is included in the CS meal.

The appetizer is only applicable to lunch and dinner at TS restaurants.

Appetizers are not included with CS meals.

If the meal is breakfast, neither the appetizer nor the dessert is included (this is for both CS and TS).
