From what I understand there is a lot food available on the dining plan and I am trying to figure out how to do the CS meals. I was wondering with the CS if it would be enough for DH and I (not huge eaters) to share. Also, are the kids meals enough for two kids my dd's have fairly healthy appetites) to share or is it better for each adult to share with a child?

One I don't us (well really ME) want to gain weight (but still enjoy with out too much watching), two I don't want to waste food and thirdly it would be nice if we could also share the odd hot cs breakfast (I think everyone will get sick of the in room cereal and granola bars fast) and still have enough credits for other meals.

we did this on our recent June trip and it was fine. One example...Pecos Bill's has a chicken wrap that is, IMH, enormous. Several places have double cheeseburgers, so ask if you can have a second bun (or go without, as I do) and 2 people can share it.

As for sharing with the kids or being concerned if the kids meals are enough, unless they have started separating the credits (adult/child) you can go up to the counter and order 4 lunches off the "regular" menu and use the credits. If they have indeed started separating them, then you won't be able to do that. I haven't heard that it has actually happened yet. At the TS restaurants, however, your child MUST order off the children's menu.

We are coming down in November (staying off site) and again in April (on site) when I was thinking of doing the meal plan. However, if they separate the credits, I'll have to do a careful review of the menus, as my 2 ds's are not fond of pb&j or cold grilled chicken. Unless I can get them nuggets, burgers or dogs, they will not enjoy a child's meal so I would have to order then 1 adult and split it out.

Have a great time.

Some of the CS meals might be a little on the skimpy side for sharing, but some are plenty. The rotisserie chicken at Tusker House is a huge portion, for example, but I wouldn't want to try to share a meal at Yakitori House. Since you're light eaters anyway, you might find that with the dessert, one meal is always plenty for the two of you - just order carefully, and I think you'll do all right splitting.
