Considering going to Boardwalk area for lunch the day we are at the Studios. We would walk right over or take the boat over from the Studios. What can you get as CS lunch at Boardwalk and is it worth it? Are CS lunch options better at the Studios? Maybe we should have lunch at Studios first them do some shopping at the Boardwalk and later on grab a snack there? What's the best thing to do on the dining plan?

Also, could we wheel the double stroller onto the boat or is it just easier to walk?

Thanks,
Bonnie

I don't think there are really any CS lunch options at the Boardwalk unless you count the pre-made sandwiches you can get at the Boardwalk Bakery. It's not a very big selection. All other places there are TS places-Big River, Spoodles, ESPN, Flying Fish and they don't all even serve lunch. The hot dog kiosk did not accept the dining plan the last time we were there and I'm pretty sure they still don't.

Over at the Yacht and Beach club resorts you don't really have a lot of CS options either-just the Marketplace which is really limited. Everything else-Captains Grill, Beaches and Cream are TS. Cape May Cafe and Yachtsman are TS and don't serve lunch, only breakfast and dinner.

You'd get much more of a selection with CS choices at either Epcot or MGM.

It's a pretty far walk from MGM to the boardwalk. Epcot is much closer. I do believe that you can take a double stroller onto the boats. I know I have taken a single stroller onto them probably a hundred times. :goodvibes

If using DDP for lunch at Beaches and Cream, how does the "appetizer" work?
Another words, I looked at the menu and they don't show true "appetizers" listed? How about dessert? Are all their ice cream selections considered "dessert" on DDP? Thanks very much in advance!

fyi, the BW bakery has delicious lunch paninis:thumbsup2
(we did not care for the b'fast one tho, so just go after 11AM)

On the DDP you do not get an appetizer, so no worries there. The DxDDP includes an appetizer, but I don't know what that would be if there aren't appetizers on the menu. Maybe Onion Rings? :confused3

Desserts - the only one that I can think of that is not included is the Kitchen Sink. I believe all of the others are included.

Note though Beaches & Cream is a TS credit - something I am sure that you're aware of, but just so it's clear for everyone.
