I'm trying to figure out the best way that my nieces and nephews can eat at the parks... (non dining plan...)

Can they go to counter service places and charge a meal to their KTTW cards???

How about some snacks???

You don't say how old the kids are. If you leave a credit card on file at check in, you can ennable any and/or all keycards to the room with charging privledges. This means that they can charge *anything* foods, souvies, t-shirts, ride pics, etc. As long as they are responsible and will abide by any ground rules you establish on spending, sure you can set them up with charging rights on their KTTW.

You can determine for each card if it will or will not have charging authority. Also, when you get a printed copy of your folio (which you can do at any time at the Front Desk) there is an indication for each charge as to which card incurred the charge. So as long as you know the last nmbers on each card you can tell who did the charge.

Oldest is 21 - youngest is 12...

I think I'll just give them cash for lunch... I can only SEE my nieces going shopping now...

Maybe the food plan is better - I'm just going to have a headache trying to keep the 7 of us on plan!!!

Another thought - if you are worried about them losing the cash get them traveler's checks or an Amex Gift Card (if Disney takes Amex, I'm not sure). The Amex Gift cards are replaceable if lost or stolen - they are almost like traveler's checks except they won't get wrecked if they get wet. You might even be able to attach one to the KTTW card if it's value was high enough. And as of last week when I bought them at CVS there was a rebate on the Amex GC if you buy three you get your fees refunded via a separate gift card valued at $15. Not a bad deal.
